Adriashenko was commander of the 83rd Fighter Aviation Bridage in the Belorussian Military District. Seventy-nine pilots from the 83rd would go on to serve in the Spanish Civil War, including Adriashenko himself[1].
Adriashenko served in the Spanish Civil War from July 31, 1937 to January 6, 1938. He served as an advisor to the commander of air forces for the Northern Front, and then as commander of fighter aviation[1].
Adriashenko was promoted to the rank of Maj. Gen. of Aviation on June 4, 1940[2].
Adriashenko served in World War II as deputy commander of fighter aviation for the Transcaucasus Air Defense Zone, and later commander of the 21st Air Army[1].
After World War II, Adriashenko served as deputy chief of staff for the National Air Defense Forces (PVO Strany)[1].
