• November 2, 2006 In remarks at the C4ISR Integration Conference, Secretary of the Air Force Michael Wynne announces that the Air Force will create a new Cyberspace Command, from the 8th Air Force^[1].

• September 18, 2007 Secretary of the Air Force Michael Wynne announces that the Air Force is standing up the provisional Air Force Cyber Command^[2].
