All-Russia Aeroclub
The All-Russia Aeroclub--or Всероссийский Аэроклуб (ВАК)--was founded on January 29, 1908. In December, 1909 the club became a member of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) and earned the right to register world aviation records and to grant pilot's licenses valid world-wide[1].
