Borisoglebsk Military Pilots School
The Borisoglebsk Military Pilots School (full title: "The V. P. Chkalov Borisoglebsk Order of Lenin Red Banner Higher Military Aviation School") was a Soviet military pilots school founded in 1922.
The school was established by order of Glavvozdukhflot in December, 1922 as the "2nd Military Pilots School of the Red Air Fleet" (in Russian: "2-я военная школа летчиков Красного Воздушного Флота", or "2-я ВШЛ КВФ"). It became active on January 5, 1923, headed by commander Vasily M. Remezyuk, military commissar F. I. Shatov (Ф. И. Шатов), and deputy commander for flight training K. F. Kapustyan (К. Ф. Капустян)[1].
