Constant Peg
Constant Peg was the code name for a classified U.S. Air Force program that involved Air Force, Navy, and Marine aircrews flying their aircraft in dissimilar air combat training (DACT) scenarios against actual Soviet MiG fighters that had been acquired by the U.S. government. The program was conducted at Tonopah Test Range and ran from 1977 through 1988.
