In 1904, Ferber assisted Col. Charles Renard in setting up the first facility in the world for testing aircraft models, engines, and propellers at Chalais-Meudon, France[1].
On May 27, 1905, Ferber made a flight in a motorized aircraft, "aéroplane No.6", that he had designed and built[1][2].
