Command of the Air was translated into Russian in the Soviet Union in 1936, "Gospodstvo v Vozdukhe", translated by V. A. Vinograd with a forward from V. V. Khripin, and published by Voenizdat, Moscow. The Russian version was based on a version of Douhet's collected works published posthumously in Italy in 1932.
