[edit] Biography

Remezyuk graduated from the Sevastopol Military Pilots School in 1916[1].

After the Russian Revolution, he joined the Bolsheviks. He serve as commander of air forces in the Crimea[1] and participated in the suppression of the Tartar Kurultai uprising[2]. He went on to serve as the commander of the Heavy Aircraft Division (in Russian: Дивизиона воздушных кораблей), which operated the Ilya Muromets heavy bomber[1].

Remezyuk was the first commander of the Borisoglebsk Military Pilots School, from its founding in 1923 to 1924[1].
